Creating your personal Garment Basic

 Day 1 FIT - Accomplishing the correct fit will enable the sewer to assure a successful outcome when sewing garments. In this class the student will learn to pin fit a pattern, alter and adjust areas of concern and record any changes necessary. From here they will be able transfer measurements to a pattern and follow through by making a basic muslin for future use. 4 hours  Thursday May 8th 1:00 - 5:00 pm

Day 2 GARMENT BASIC - Once you have your FIT achieved, the next step is to cut and sew a muslin or mock up garment to continue making any further adjustments needed. In this session, the student will begin to transfer paper pattern changes to fabric muslin , making sure all markings and labelling are transferred. At this stage you will cut the fabric and sew up your basic fitted muslin. 4 hours  Thursday May 15th 1:00 - 5:00 pm
